Kemi is Sarah’s maid of honour and closest confidante. She’s a strong, family‑oriented young woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to protect those she cares about—even to the point of violence if necessary. When Sarah’s fiancé, Kola, turns out to be physically abusive, it's Kemi who intervenes—and in a tragic turn of events, accidentally kills him in what she believes is self‑defence. Following the incident, she and Sarah choose to cover up the death, which draws them into a downward spiral of suspense, betrayal, and flight from justice.

Playing Kemi did not come without challenges and intensity. To be original and make the character immersive, Isime had to let Kemi take over in some of the scenes. The actress was often emotionally absorbed—at one point near the end of filming, she cried in her room, overwhelmed by how immersed she had become in the character The line between performer and character blurred as she poured real emotion into the role, making it draining but deeply rewarding.
