The latest Foreign Trade in Goods Statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics, Nigeria, is a testament to the country’s continued reliance on imports to meet domestic demand.

Leading global economies supply a variety of essential products for Nigeria’s diverse consumers’ needs as well as to its industrial sector.

The list of the top five countries Nigeria imported goods from the most in Q4, 2024, as the NBS report shows, is hardly different from that of the previous quarter.

China tops the list by 27.80%. India comes next at 11.43%, followed by Belgium at 8.35% and the United States at 6.36%.
